The Elizabethton Police Department (34 sworn officers) recently used the tip411 platform to send out an alert to their community requesting help identifying a suspect.
The male suspect was involved in a recent shoplifting event at Lowes where multiple items were taken.
The tip411 platform provides the Elizabethton PD with a secure platform that not only allows them to share alerts but also to engage in two-way conversations started by anonymous tipsters. Additionally, it has comprehensive administrative features including a view of all tips that are easy to prioritize.
The Elizabethton Police Department mobile app is available to download for free from the Google Play Store and the iTunes App Store. Citizens can also submit an anonymous text tip via their cell phone by texting the keyword “TIPEPD” and their message/tip to 847411.
